MedNet is a medical tourism company in Brazil offering their services as a "patient advocate" inquiring on the client’s behalf to find the most respected, suitable and skilled surgeon for the client’s needs. What differentiates Brazil from other international surgical option is safety. Patients' safety is our number one priority. We are aware of all risks involved in the surgical process, so we do our best to make sure procedures are done in the safest possible environment. As part of our pre-surgery care, we require a complete medical history, including medical issues of close relatives, and other detailed medical information about our patients prior to creating their individualized surgical plan.

We also have a different approach in aftercare. For instance, we do not have outpatient procedures for plastic surgery here — as opposed to some other countries. Patients stay two days at the clinic after procedures with a doctor available for them 24/7.

About us
MedNet Brazil Nurse & Liaison/Concierge

Since I was 17, I have been involved with nursing. For almost eight years I worked in Intensive Care Units. Nursing severely ill patients on a day-to-day basis has always been both challenging and gratifying, as working towards their well being has made me a better professional and a better person.

In 2003, I had my first American patient in the hospital where I used to work. I have been helping people who come down here for procedures ever since. I have always aspired to view the patient as whole, and to have both his/her medical and psychological needs attended to. This affective dimension is especially important for foreign patients who undergo a greater emotional burden, since they are away from their families and loved ones, and under the tension of dealing with a foreign culture and language. Their nursing care, therefore, requires a deeper understanding of their needs and wants.
With this in mind, I do my absolute best to offer them a positive emotional environment where they feel safe and loved. I have learned so much with and through my foreign patients and many of them have become dear friends.
Since 2012, besides being a nurse for the MedNet Brazil doctors, I have also been the concierge/liaison. I do all of the arrangements people need to have a smooth recovery here in Brazil through what is terned a "Personalized Medical Treatment Plan. "
I help people who are considering Brazil for Plastic Surgeries or/and Dental Care by answering their questions, preparing a budget estimation, and providing all the information they need to make an informed decision.
